The Tetti Lupa farmstead is a refuge for women of all ages, and closed to all kinds of men. But the women of the community will soon find out that it’s not possible to avoid dealing with our fears and enemies forever.
Tetti Lupa is a farmstead inhabited by a group of women. Men cannot enter, and at night all the women gather around the fire to hear terrible stories about cruel and violent men. There’s only one male in the farm: Terzo, a young kid who was born there and was exceptionally allowed to stay.
Caterina and Terzo are very good friends, and she loves him very much. Even though he is a boy, Terzo is not mean, so why do all the other women treat him so roughly? Caterina starts doubting the beliefs of her sisters, especially after a terrible accident hits the quiet life of the farmstead…

Sara Dealbera graduated in illustration at the IED in Turin and then in Comics at the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2019 he has been responsible for the graphics and artistic coordination of the digital literary magazine Il Rifugio dell’Ircocervo. She has always been passionate about art and drawing: she collects postcards with paintings, she likes graphite drawings, pirate stories and the color orange. The Mantises is her first graphic novel.
